Solar Pool Heating

You've made your pool an important part of your active lifestyle by deciding to heat it with solar energy. Your solar heating system will bring you many years of environmental safety, worry free, comfortable enjoyment in your pool by employing the most available and lowest cost fuel source – the sun.

Ever since Solar Pool Heating was established in Australia, pool owners have been using the free, natural energy of the sun to double the value they get from their pool. Not only have they been able to swim through twice as many months each year, but they have also been able to swim for longer each day.

A Solar Pool Heating System connects straight into your existing pool filter system. The core of the system is the collector, usually located on your roof. During the day while the filter is operating, water is sent through the collectors on your roof, where it is heated by the sun before returning to the pool. A Digital Solar Controller compares the temperature of the pool water to the water on your roof. You set the temperature, the controller does the rest.

The solar collectors are colour co-ordinate, making them virtually invisible. They will not intrude in any way on your garden or pool scape - a heating system that is felt, but not seen.

'FLAT LOOP TECHNOLOGY'

As well as offering a range of colours, there is also a solution to the final problem with solar heating.. FAT Loops!  On certain solar systems, the loop ends can stick up as much as 8" to 10" above the roof line collecting debris, & looking quite ugly.  Narrow 6 tube HiPEC system had loops, but thankfully not as large as other systems on the market with 10 or 12 tubes.

In a cutting edge world first, each strip now has a ' Flat Loop, ' a self contained, injection moulded loop return..

Heat Pump

You've probably already made a large investment by having a pool so why only use it in the summer? More and more pool owners are making the most of their investment by having a pool heater, so why not join them and swim in your pool whenever YOU like.

With the average pool holding thousands of litres of water, keeping it at a comfortable temperature can be an expensive nightmare. A heat pump can reduce running costs by up to 75%.

For example, a heat pump is approximately half the running cost of a gas heater and if compared with electric element heating cut it by three quarters. The more you intend to use the pool, the more you will save.

The technology is much like that of an air conditioner. The unit contains a fan that draws in outside air and directs it over the surface of the Evaporator. The Evaporator coil absorbs the heat from the outside air, and the warm gas in the coil passes through the Compressor concentrating and increasing the heat. The gas then passes to the Condenser. It is here that the heat exchange occurs and the pool water becomes warmer.

We offer a range of models to suit the needs of modern pool designs and locations. Operation is basically 'set & forget'. Simply dial the temperature and enjoy the benefits of year round swimming.

Let us show you just how much you can save, you will be impressed!

Gas Pool Heating

Stop watching the sunny days go by while you wait for your pool's water to get warm enough to swim in. With a gas pool heater you can increase the number of days you can enjoy your pool. Without a heating system for your pool, your pool's water will never exceed the outdoor temperatures and the water won't stay at the 28 degree temperature that most swimmers like.

Gas is a very popular method of pool heating. It is safe, quiet and easy to install. A major advantage of gas heating is its ability to heat the water quickly (much quicker than other popular methods). So a pool need not be left heated while unused, this can mean a considerable saving.

Gas pool and spa heaters are available in a variety of sizes to suit your needs and your budget. New technologies offer higher thermal efficiencies, which means more heat is transferred to the water, but less gas is used to do it. Automatic ignition eliminates the need for a constant-burning pilot light.

Thermal Blankets

When it comes to pools, we’ve got all sizes covered!

Over 90% of heat loss is through the exposed surface of your pool. A thermal blanket virtually eliminates this loss so you can enjoy more early morning swims and cut your heating costs at the same time.

If your pool is solar heated, you can extend your swimming season by around two months, if you install a pool blanket.

Heated pool and spa owners will save big money on heating costs. When you look at the extra swimming time and savings you could be enjoying, why haven't you got a pool blanket?

Thermal Blankets will also reduce:

  • Cleaning Maintenance
  • Water Evaporation
  • Chemical Evaporation
